Covid Policy April 2022

Covid Policy from Monday 4 April

Following the Government announcement on dropping compulsory vaccine mandates and QR scanning the Otago Golf Club Board of Governance has decided to follow the Government lead.

While keeping at the forefront of mind that the Country is experiencing a highly infectious pandemic, from 4 April the Club will

- No longer require vaccine passes to enter any part of the Club’s grounds and facilities

- No longer display QR codes or require scanning in.

- No longer have limits on the number of people in the Clubhouse apart from the fact that our licence only allows for 160 people. Numbers on the course are unlimited. However, in balancing the risks of infection across our staff and members.

- We require you to wear a face covering while at the bar, kitchen, in the Pro-shop and during any interaction with Club staff.

- If you do not wish to risk playing in a group with the potential of unvaccinated people, you may form your own four among those you feel safe with.

- If you feel in any way unwell, please do not come to the Club.

-Please be aware that there will be members of the club and visitors to the club that unknowingly have covid when they are here so, please take the appropriate precautions to look after yourself.

Please continue to be considerate of others and lets all work together to minimise the risks of infection, while enjoying each other’s company.
